Random Port Generator

numberClient-side utility

When spinning up local dev servers, Docker containers, or test services, you often need a port number that is valid but unlikely to collide with common defaults. The Random Port Generator produces random port numbers in the full valid range of 1–65535, one per line. Set the Count field (up to 100) to get a batch at once — useful when configuring multiple services or generating candidate ports to try. Each click produces a fresh set of random values. Everything runs locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The tool does not intentionally send anything to our servers.

🔌 Random Port Generator

Generate one or more random port numbers in the valid range (1–65535). Free, private, runs in your browser.

📖How to Use This Tool

What is Random Port Generator?

This tool generates random integers between 1 and 65535, the full range of valid TCP/UDP port numbers. You choose how many you want — from 1 up to 100 — and each appears on its own line in the Ports box, ready to copy into your configuration.

The values come from the browser's Math.random(), so every click yields a different set. Note that the tool picks random numbers only; it does not check whether a port is actually free on your machine.

How to use it

  1. Enter how many ports you need in the Count (max 100) field — it defaults to 1.
  2. Click Generate.
  3. Copy the port numbers from the Ports box, one per line.
  4. Try them in order in your app or container config until one binds successfully.

Why use this over alternatives

Guessing ports by hand tends to land on the same familiar numbers, which is exactly how collisions happen. This generator gives you unbiased random picks across the whole range in one click. It runs locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The tool does not intentionally send anything to our servers.

Number Base Converter — Binary, Octal, Hex, Decimal

Computer science students, embedded systems programmers, and network engineers frequently convert numeric values between decimal notation and positional numbering systems like binary, octal, and hexadecimal. Performing radix conversions by hand using repeated division or powers of two is tedious and prone to calculation mistakes, especially when troubleshooting memory offsets, bitmasks, or hardware register configurations. Number Base Converter streamlines this process by accepting an input integer in binary, octal, decimal, or hexadecimal and converting it simultaneously across all four standard computing bases. Number Base Converter runs locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The tool does not intentionally send entered numerals or converted values to our servers.

Currency Exchange Rate — Free Live FX Calculator

Currency Exchange Rate is a live FX calculator that converts an amount between 12 common currencies: USD, CNY, EUR, JPY, GBP, KRW, HKD, SGD, THB, VND, IDR, and MYR. Enter an amount, pick the From and To currencies, and click Convert to see the converted total alongside the current rate and the date the rate was published. Rates come from the free ExchangeRate-API endpoint (open.er-api.com, no API key required), fetched directly by your browser. Because the rates are live data from a third-party service, this tool needs an internet connection to work.

Salary Converter — Hourly to Annual, Monthly, Daily

A $25 hourly wage sounds modest until you multiply it out — but few people do the arithmetic on the spot. Salary Converter turns an hourly wage into annual, monthly, daily, and hourly-equivalent figures the moment you type, using your own hours-per-week and weeks-per-year assumptions plus an optional tax rate for after-tax estimates. With the defaults (40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, 20% tax), typing 25 shows $52,000 a year and $41,600 after tax. There is no button to press; every card updates live as you edit. It runs locally in your browser, so your pay details stay on your device.

Loan Calculator — Monthly Payment & Interest

Evaluating mortgage proposals, auto loans, or personal financing options requires understanding how monthly obligations, interest rates, and loan terms interact over time. Many online loan calculators require submitting personal contact details, display aggressive financing advertisements, or transmit financial queries to remote lead-generation servers. This Loan Calculator evaluates standard fixed-rate amortized loans directly within your browser. It calculates exact monthly payments, total interest costs, and cumulative repayment amounts while generating a 12-month amortization schedule locally, helping you compare financing options privately and transparently.

❓Frequently Asked Questions

Q.What range of ports does it generate?

The tool generates ports from 1 to 65535 — the complete valid range for TCP and UDP port numbers. Each value is chosen independently at random, so duplicates are possible within a large batch; just skip any repeat and use the next candidate.

Q.How many ports can I generate at once?

The Count field accepts 1 to 100 and defaults to 1. If you enter more than 100, it is clamped to 100; values below 1 are raised to 1. Each generated port appears on its own line in the Ports box for easy copying.

Q.Does it check whether a port is free on my machine?

No. A browser page cannot probe your machine's ports, so the tool only suggests random candidates — it cannot verify availability. If your application reports a port as already in use, simply try the next one from the generated list.

Q.Should I avoid well-known ports like 80 or 443?

Those can appear since the range covers everything from 1 to 65535. For local development, ports above 1024 usually avoid permission issues and conflicts with system services, so just skip any low-numbered results that do not suit your setup.
