About Daily Toolbox
I built Daily Toolbox because I kept needing small, trustworthy utilities — a JSON formatter that doesn't phone home, a PDF merger that doesn't watermark my files, a password generator I can actually trust. So I built them: 141 free tools in one place, no signup, no paywalls.
It's a one-person project \u2014 I'm Alex Sun. I design the tools, write the code, and answer support emails myself. If something's broken or you'd like a new tool, you're talking directly to the person who can fix it.
Local File Privacy
Your files never leave your device. File and media operations run locally within your browser sandbox. All processing happens locally.
Zero Subscription Walls
No signup forms, no email captures, and no artificial monthly limits. Tools are designed for rapid, uninterrupted workflows.
RFC Standards Compliance
Every parser and converter is tested against industry RFCs (RFC 8259 for JSON, RFC 4122/9562 for UUIDs, and RFC 7519 for JWTs).
How It's Built
Daily Toolbox is a statically generated Next.js site. Most tools run entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly — that's what makes them fast, and it's why your files stay private.
A small number of AI-powered tools send text to cloud APIs to produce results. Those pages are clearly labeled, and the privacy policy explains exactly what happens to your data.
Funding & Operational Transparency
Daily Toolbox is an independently funded utility project. To cover server bandwidth, domain infrastructure, and active maintenance without imposing paywalls or subscriptions, we display standard contextual advertisements through Google AdSense.
We strictly follow Google Publisher Policies, the Coalition for Better Ads standards, and European GDPR / IAB Transparency and Consent Framework guidelines.
